Baby Bronx

What a fun day this newborn shoot turned out to be for so many reasons. First off, I was nervous to photograph little Bronx as this was my very first newborn photo shoot. Ideally, a newborn should be photographed the very first week after birth, ideally between 5-6 days old. This way the baby sleeps and the photographer can position the baby into creative positions without upsetting the baby. I was contacted by my friend Veronica, baby Bronx’s mama when he was a little over a week old. I was very excited to schedule a time to come over but with my work schedule, it made it a little challenging. I was able to come over one afternoon when baby Bronx was 10 days old. I was nervous that he would be awake and hard to position into the cute poses that I wanted to do, but as soon as I arrived my nerves changed to excitement. Bronx was so clam and easy to work with which made the day so enjoyable. Veronica was such a happy mama and was not nervous at all to let me handle her little bundle of joy. The most touching part of the day was when Veronica and her husband Dave brought over Dave’s father’s Harley helmet. Sadly, Dave’s father passed away before ever getting a chance to meet his beautiful grandson. We were able to get the most amazing pictures of baby Bronx resting peacefully in his grandpa’s favorite helmet which brought a tear and a smile to everyone’s face. Out of all the images I took that afternoon, baby Bronx was the most peaceful in grandpa’s helmet. I will never forget that moment and how it touched my heart. Thank you Saverino family for letting me into your home and into your life.

Baby Kayden

After the long anticipated arrival of baby Kayden, everyone is delighted to say welcome to the world baby Kayden and congrats Nathan and Kim Haskins. This little guy is a true fighter and with his determination, he will surely be a professional athlete one day. With tall, gorgeous parents, this little guy has all their looks and the natural Mohawk to prove it. When I arrived at Nate and Kim’s beautiful home, I knew that the photography shoot would work out great with all of their beautiful decorations and scenery they have in their home. With Kayden being a little older then my typical newborn shoots, it was hard to get him to sleep at first. Finally after a few bottles and a couple of diaper changes we were ready to rock and roll. This little guy fell into a deep sleep and we were able to put him in baskets and move him from room to room. All in all I was able to get some wonderful shots that I hope the Haskins will cherish forever.

Baby Alexia

I was super excited about photographing this tiny newborn. Girls are always fun to take pictures of because you get to dress them up with cute bows and hats. When I found out my husband’s cousin Brittney was having a girl, I reminded her all the time that I would be taking baby Alexia’s 1st pictures. I went overboard and bought hats and props to ensure a perfect session with this little cutie. The timing was also in my favor, as little Alexia was only 6 days old. I scoped out the house for a good spot to take photographs and I found that Alexia’s nursery had great lighting and space. She was an absolute gem for me, sleeping the entire time, making it a breeze to take one beautiful picture after another. I had the most fun editing these pictures as almost every picture was perfect. I am excited to watch her grow throughout the years and be there to capture her special milestones. Welcome to the world baby Alexia, what a little gem you are.
